You don't have to be in great shape or have any dance experience to give belly dance a go. It's a low impact form of exercise that can help develop muscle tone, improve posture, relieve stress and boost self-esteem. It isn't a high cardio, keep fit class - although that doesn't mean it's easy! Learning a new way to move your body is a (hopefully fun!) challenge both physically and mentally.
Classes take place in St. Peter's Community Centre in Sowerby village, near Sowerby Bridge in Calderdale. Private lessons can also be arranged across Calderdale, West Yorkshire, or over Zoom.
